1. Who these terms are between
These terms govern the services PT Omega Royal Prakarsa ("ORP", "we", "us") provides to you — whether you are an individual applicant, an Indonesian sponsor, an employer or an event organiser. They apply from the moment you engage us for a specific piece of work.
Browsing this site does not engage us and does not cost you anything. Asking us a question does not either: the initial assessment is free, including the version of it where we tell you that you do not need us.
A written quote we send you, and any statement of work attached to it, forms part of these terms. Where a quote and this page disagree about your case, the quote wins — it was written about you.
2. What we are, and what we are not
We are a private visa and immigration services company. We prepare, sponsor where permitted, and file applications. We are not part of the Indonesian government and we do not decide anything.
Every decision on an application — grant, refusal, the length of stay given, whether an extension is allowed, whether you are admitted at the border on the day — belongs to the Directorate General of Immigration or the relevant authority. It does not belong to us and it cannot be bought from us.
We cannot guarantee that your application will be approved, and nobody who can charge you money can. Anyone who offers you a guaranteed approval, a guaranteed timeline, or a result "through a contact" is either lying or proposing something illegal. What we control is that the file is complete, consistent and correctly filed — which is where the large majority of refusals actually come from.
3. What we do for you
Depending on what you engage us for:
- Assessment. Establishing which index fits what you will actually be doing, and telling you if the honest answer is that you need nothing. Free.
- Document preparation. Naming the exact list your index requires, checking what you send against it, and telling you before filing if something will not pass.
- Sponsorship. Where an index requires an Indonesian sponsor and the law permits us to be it, we can sponsor visit visas directly. For a work permit the sponsor must be the company employing you; we cannot stand in for it.
- Filing and follow-through. Lodging the application, responding to requests from the authority, tracking it, and collecting the result.
- Reminders. For stay permits, telling you before your permit or passport expires rather than after.
4. What we need from you
An application is a document exercise, and it fails on documents. So:
- Everything you tell us must be true and complete, including the parts that are inconvenient — a previous refusal, a previous overstay, a deportation, a name that differs across your documents. We can usually work with a problem we know about. We cannot work with one we find out about at the counter.
- Every document you give us must be genuine, and yours.
- Your passport must have the validity and the blank pages your index requires. We check this before filing and will tell you if it does not.
- You must respond to our requests, and to the authority’s, within the time we give you. Some windows are set by the authority and cannot be extended.
- You must tell us promptly if your plans change — the dates, the purpose, who is paying you, or the employer.
If we find that a document you have given us is falsified, we will stop work immediately, keep no part of the file on foot, and report it where Indonesian law requires us to. Fees already paid are not refundable in that situation. Submitting a false document to Imigrasi is a criminal matter for the person who submits it, and we will not be that person.
5. What we will not do
There are jobs we turn down, and it is fairer to say so here than after you have paid.
- We will not sell you a visa you do not need. If your passport enters Indonesia free of charge, we will tell you so and we will not invoice you for arranging it.
- We will not put you on a visit visa for work. If you are being paid for work performed in Indonesia, the answer is a stay permit however short the assignment, and we would rather lose the sale than set you up for a deportation and a re-entry ban.
- We will not make a payment to an official, offer one, or route one through a third party on your behalf, in any circumstances or for any fee.
- We will not describe your purpose to the authority as something other than what you have told us it is.
6. Fees, and what happens if it is refused
We publish no price list. The fee for a visa depends on the index, the nationality and the timeline, so the number you are given is a quote for your case rather than a figure off a page — and it always shows two amounts separately, because a single all-in number is where a mark-up hides:
- Our service fee — for the work described above. Quoted in rupiah before you pay anything, and it does not move afterwards unless the scope of the case does, in which case we quote the change and wait for you to agree it.
- Official fees and disbursements — payable to the Indonesian state or to a third party such as a translator, a courier or a medical provider. Passed through at cost, itemised on your invoice, never marked up. The tariffs are set by regulation and can change, so these are quoted from the schedule current at the time of filing.
A quote holds for fourteen days. Payment is due after the quote and before we file. If the application is refused: the official fee has been paid to the state and the state does not return it, and our service fee covers the work of preparing and filing and is earned once the file is lodged. Where a refusal is caused by something we got wrong, we re-file at no further service fee. Where it is caused by information you did not tell us, we do not.
7. Timelines
Every duration we give you is an estimate based on how long the authority is currently taking, not a commitment on its behalf. Processing times move, systems go down, a case gets picked for additional checks, and some nationalities require a clearance step that adds weeks and cannot be shortened by anyone.
We will tell you the realistic lead time at the quote, including the part of it that is outside our control, and we will tell you as soon as we know if it slips.
Do not buy a non-refundable flight, book a non-refundable venue, or announce a speaker before the visa is issued. If a deadline is immovable, tell us at the assessment — it changes what we recommend, and sometimes it changes whether we take the case at all.
8. Our liability
We are liable for our own work: if we prepare or file your application negligently, that is ours and we will put it right, by re-filing at our cost where re-filing is possible and by refunding our service fee where it is not.
Beyond that, our total liability for any one application is limited to the service fee you paid us for it. In particular we are not liable for a decision made by the authority, for the consequences of information you did not disclose, or for travel, accommodation, venue or business costs you committed to before a permit was issued.
Nothing here limits liability that Indonesian law does not permit us to limit, including for fraud or for gross negligence.
9. Where we act as your sponsor
Sponsorship is a legal responsibility we take on, not a form we sign. Where ORP is the sponsor named on your visa, you additionally agree that:
- you will do only what the index permits, and not work;
- you will tell us your address in Indonesia and any change to it;
- you will leave, extend or transfer to another permit before your permitted stay expires;
- you will not overstay.
If you overstay or work while we are your sponsor, the consequences land on us as well as on you, and we are obliged to report it. This is the one clause where our interests and yours are genuinely joined, so we would rather chase you about a date than be surprised by it.
10. Cancelling
You can withdraw from an application at any time by telling us in writing. What you get back depends on where the case had reached: before we start work, all of it; after the assessment and document preparation but before filing, the unearned portion; after filing, nothing, because the work is done and the state has the official fee.
We may stop work if you do not pay, if you do not respond within a reasonable time, if you have given us false information or a falsified document, or if continuing would require us to do something in clause 5. Where we stop for one of the first two reasons we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
11. Your data, and this site
How we handle your personal data and your identity documents is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
The text, layout and photographs on this site are ours. You are welcome to quote or link to a page — that is what it is for. You may not republish a page wholesale, or present our catalogue as your own.
The visa information on this site is written carefully, dated, and reviewed monthly, and Indonesian immigration policy still changed three times in the two years before this page was written. It is general information about the rules, not advice about your case. Ask us before you rely on it for a decision that costs money.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If something goes wrong between us, the first step is to write to halo@orpvisa.com and give us thirty days to resolve it — most things end there.
If it cannot be resolved that way, the courts of Jakarta, Indonesia have jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause removes a right you have as a consumer under Indonesian law to bring a complaint elsewhere.
13. Changes to these terms
We move the date at the top of this page when we change it. A change does not apply retroactively to an application already quoted or filed — your case runs on the terms that were current when you engaged us.
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still stand.
Something here you want explained?
Ask before you send us a passport scan, not after. We would rather answer a question about how your documents are handled than have you wonder about it.
